Network playback using Kubuntu

Hi guys!

First post on these forums so I hope you can all go easy on me... :-) Did a search on the topic but couldn't find anything good!

I have just migrated from WinXP to Kubuntu and would like to use SMS on my PS2 together with the new OS. Until now I have used RADHost to "share" my folders and then watch them on my TV but RADHost doesn't work under Linux does it? :-S So what to do now? I am pretty green on this so please explain it all in steps for me if you would like to help...

Cheers!

-Anders

No readme's or any kind of doc. Just an extensionless ELF binary...

How are people to know if their hardware and OS are compatible to that binary ?
And where did that binary come from ?
Is a Linux-adapted source available ? (as is customary for Linux-based projects)
And is it a modified version of radad's release ?

These are questions I think most Linux users would like replies to.

Best regards: dlanor

About 5 topics lower from this one is something about Ubuntu + Samba + PS2.
Should work the same for Kubuntu.

It works for me.
Radhost for Linux also works but having a share always open instead of starting Radhost and moving files into it is great (I'm lazy).
