I Backed Up 2 DVD's Heres The Properties Tab Under Each .AVI
SMS Is Only Playing Movie #2. Both Are Nearly Identical. Movie #1 Comes Up As "Unsupported File Format" Any Reason Why? Both Running Off On My 8GB USB Flash Drive.

I have no reply for you on that, mainly because you are posting in the wrong area.
Post this in the SMS forum where it belongs.

Btw:
When you make a DVD movie into an AVI file, that is never called a 'backup'.
A backup is when you make an identical copy still using the same format as the original.

Making a DVD movie into an AVI (or other single-file movie format) is known as 'ripping'.

Best regards: dlanor

It's ripping, you're not making a direct copy of the dvd, you're not even keeping it in the same format as the dvd was originally, you're taking or ripping the content and turning it into a new file..

My only suggestion why your files dont work are that immediately i see the first is 19fps!!

I'm not sure SMS supports strange framerates, only 24-25fps and 30fps to my knowledge.

I'm sure we've had people before who had files of 23fps who had to reconvert them at a proper frame rate..

Whatever "your friend" is using to rip these isnt doing a very good job, perhaps he should use different software that rips to AVI/DIVX standards..
