The Subtitles are bad centered If you choose different height and widht for the subtitle font,

The clock's time is never right. I'd like to see a time zone option to correct this, please.

do you have a modchip? cause i do and launching SMS via dev.mode screws up the clock. when launching via os hack everything's ok

No modchip, just FMCB. I launch SMS from the hacked sony menu and ULE.

Testing a little bit more, i see that the error is because SMS is taking only the Height parameter for centering the subtitle,

This isn't really a bug but when I run SMS 2.8 rev 6 it shows SMS 2.8 rev 5 on the version at the background

there is a problem with files list.
for example, when i put a few episodes of friends ona a pendrive, the last file is shown as a first.
it looks like this:

friends.s02e6
friends.s02e1
friends.s02e2
friends.s02e3
friends.s02e4
friends.s02e5

default volume - Some files start with no sound and i have no access to the volume control
fixed by defaulting the volume to max 100% was like this with some avi files not most

Are you sure they all have the same case. friends with a small f will appear before friends with a capital F.. now matter what follows..

im sure.
i also noticed, that this may have a connection with order recording.
for example, when i first drag friends.s02e6 on my PenDrive and then the others, friends.s02e6 will show as a first episode, no matter what name does it have.

I've noticed that too... The files are shown the same order they are copied to usb stick (which in some times is kinda good) but should be nice to have a configuration to allow swtich between this type of listing and alphabetical one.

Go into SMS Menu by pressing Start in the browser, then "Browser Settings..." then turn on "Sort filesystem objects"

Thanks a lot EEUG for the effort you put in SMS Player. Im experiencing two problems:

1. After using the Forward and Rewind feature, the player freeze. Actually, it freezes after 2 or 3 second when I press play. Thus, playing 2 or 3 seconds before freezing.

2. Some videos have out of sync audio problem. A sample is available at the following link:

I can play the video fine on PC but on SMS player it has the out of sync audio problem. Using the SMS player i have confronted about 15 of those videos.

Note: Im using the SMS Player 2.8 rev 6

I have found that explicitly setting the display to PAL or NTSC instead of using AUTO fixes this problem. ie. If the video was originally PAL, use PAL, etc.

Are you using the latest 2.9 version or an old version..

Have you resynced the A/V with the O button, i set mine at -.75 and its fine for everything across :host and :mass..
